About Our Organization

The Brain Injury Association of Pennsylvania advocates for people with brain injuries and helps them receive the services needed to lead productive lives. It collaborates with state agencies to develop and administer programs which support students with brain injuries who are returning to school. The association also strives to prevent brain injuries by offering educational programs and distributing free bicycle and ski helmets at brain safety fairs throughout the state. The BIAPA relies on dedicated volunteers and donors to deliver these programs, as well as to provide support and advocate for those with brain injuries and their families.

Good Shepherd Rehabilitation Network is a nationally recognized rehabilitation leader, offering a continuum of care for people with injuries, complex medical needs, physical disabilities and/or cognitive impairments. The Brain Injury Program at Good Shepherd is comprised of a team of brain injury specialists who are dedicated to helping individuals recover from their brain injuries. In the past year, the Brain Injury Program has provided services to over 500 people with brain injuries through our inpatient rehabilitation hospital and outpatient services.

Both are registered 501(c)(3) organizations.
